ToNY CaMM TEAMS UP WITH GLOBAL NON-PROFIT TO "SAVE THE MUSIC".

Recording artist and bandleader ToNY CaMM is joining forces with Maryland-based non-profit Concerts For Causes, Inc. to bring the "Lynchburg Food Wine Funk Jazz and Blues Festival" to the Lynchburg Riverfront on Saturday October 15 11am-6pm, to benefit the organization's "Save The Music" program which gives musical instruments to deserving students in under-served communities across the nation.

Studies show that 95% of high school students involved in a music program will graduate and go on to college, and many high schools have music programs with dedicated teachers, but inferior or no musical instruments.

CaMM has enlisted the help of his bandmates from the Funk Allstars, along with local favorites Earthbound Creatures and Flat Five Jazz as well as Maryland acts Steve Leads & The Off The Grid Band and Cymone Lovett & The Dream, plus recording artist Shirley Clinton and renowned bassist Robb Harper to bring an entertaining day of jazz, blues, R&B and funk music, along with artisans and food and wine vendors.

Musical instruments will be presented to students throughout the event and some lucky youth performers will get to sit in with the band.

Admission to the festival is FREE, but donations to the cause are welcomed and encouraged before, during and after the event.
