One of my favorite things about our Jazz@720 residency at Flutes Wine Lounge is exposing and experiencing world-class talent that is new to the Lynchburg community.
TONIGHT, we see that in full force as brand new group The Velvet Canary makes it's debut on the Jazz@720 stage.
The jazz band features Gareth Glen, 19 on vocals, Charlie Vandemark, 20 on drums, Jon Brye, 19 on bass and Kenneth Wingfield, 24 on guitar.
Also making his Lynchburg public debut tonight is 29 year-old Brazilian-born musician and composer Beck Faircloth, who will open the night with a set filled with his originals and some popular favorites.
As usual, doors open at 6:30pm, with the opening act starting at 6:45., and the main act at 7:20pm.
